It went down like this:
Earlier in the day I tell Ana, if you are a good girl this afternoon I will share a cupcake with you. Or if you finish your dinner I will share a cupcake with you. Tonight I told her she had to take one more bite of her dinner, then she can have it. Holy Hell hit the fan. Crying and screaming. Telling me Im naughty. And 'it isn't fair'. I look at her and tell her she gets one more change, say she is sorry and act like she wants the cupcake. NOPE. So she didnt get it.
As a substitute she had strawberry's and she was very happy about that.
Turning the tables:
At bed time, she tells me she is sorry she was acting that way, but it was only because I didn't give her a hug. I gave her a hug, she assures me that, that hug sealed the deal and her naughtiness is forever gone.
------------------------------------------
The cuteness she said this week:
"MOM!! Emrie is spitting like an Alligator"
Emrie is crying because we leave the room. Ana comes right back in "Emrie look, Ana is here..."
Me telling her that 4 year olds don't do.... whatever it is... She shoots back, "ok, I'm not 4 yet."
-----------------------------------------
This week in Emrie's world:
She has finally adjusted to her new room at daycare and is LOVING IT! She comes home pooped from her day. She waves all the time. No extra words though. She is growing up so much-- She climbs just about anything. She loves going to the park and goes down the slide alone (on her tummy-- and a slide made for people her age.) She rocks the park, running around like a crazy girl. All while Ana is trying to get ride of all the bugs before she dives in to play.

Birthday Week:
Monday: grandma and grampa C. took her out of daycare all day and they went the the MOA. She had swimming lessons, went out to eat and to Cj's soccer game... BUSY DAY!
Tuesday: She got to watch a movie after school. (I know, I know... But she thought it was cool because it isn't an everyday thing)
Wednesday: I got them from daycare in the stroller (which they both love) we went to the park. She chose to eat Mac and Cheese and broccoli outside. Then she took a bath and put herself to bed at 730... (no complaints here.)
Thursday: not sure what I have planned for tomorrow.
Friday: Grandma Jane is coming and taking her to get a pedicure/manicure (basically nails painted) and treats at the mall.
Saturday: Her dance "recital" and HER BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!! I just thought... this year we are having her party at 4. So we will be in mid-major party mode at the exact time of her birth. FUN!!!
Picture of the day:
Life with two daughters, always changing, filled with more ups than downs. We are a team of three. Remembering to make our hearts happy by loving, laughing and singing.

Birthday week
"Mom since its almost my birthday can I wear a birthday hat."
Of course--- that is until her sister yanked it off her head and crushed it. So now all week I will hear "since I'm almost the birthday girl...." Which is cool, she will have a fun week.
Here is Ana and I 4 years ago today:
That seems like a lifetime ago. At the same time its so crazy to think that I have a 4 year old already.
I Love Being her Mom.

This Morning
This morning Ana was talking about candy cotton balls. (I am pretty sure she mean cotton candy.) When my brother takes Ana for the day he gives her all sorts of sugary things. Cotton Candy is one of them.
She learned at school that sweet things (like Candy) have 'sugar bugs.' And the sugar bugs get in her teeth and you have to brush them to get the sugar bugs out.
So things morning she said:
"Mom, candy cotton balls are so good. They don't have sugar bugs in them. They just have two Cabories." (Calories)
CALORIES? Where did she learn that?
I am 100% positive I have never spoken about calories to her. And even if I did how did she figure out that calories are in sugary things?
I thought that was so funny.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Every morning both girls are so cuddly. and sweet. and cute.
Ana wakes up before Emrie or I wake Ana up before Emrie to get her ready first. Its just easier. And every single morning I have to tell Ana to not go in and wake Emrie up until I tell her to. Almost every morning Ana goes in and wakes Emrie up.
She tells me she won't. But some how she ends up 'playing' in the 2 foot area between my bed and Emrie's bed. Ana tells me she isn't waking her up. Emrie just wakes up on her own because Ana is playing there. DUH. But every morning they are both so happy to see each other. Its cute. For the 30 seconds every morning they are completely cute. When they wake up they both love to cuddle and be rocked and held. They give kisses and are so gentle. Then comes the rest of the day.
Tattling.
hair pulling
toy stealing
whining
crying
screaming
singing
laughing
Lots of loudness
and fifty thousand versions of mom being said over and over.
Then bed time comes and they go back to the two girls they were when they woke up.
